My second niece, Baby Bee, arrived yesterday at 6:37 pm. She is 8lbs 5oz and 21 inches long. She is also the quietest, longest sleeping baby I've met in quite a while. She slept through getting her heel poked and didn't do more than one little grunt while being examined and man-handled by the pediatrician. And she has patiently put up with all of Bug's poking and exclamations. Seems like the perfect second child!

Yay for new nieces! Enjoy that little one! Congratulations again Auntie! I'm so happy for you.
ReplyDeleteCongrats! =-) She's a cute one!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your beautiful neice! Don't worry - she'll soon grow out of that sleepy stage - I think it is a blessing during the recooping period after having a baby that they are so sleepy - mostly during the day hours! She is a cutie and so lucky to have such an incredible aunt!
ReplyDeleteI don't know, being a second child myself, you gotta watch out for those ones! ;)
ReplyDeleteCongrats! I'm sure your mom is smiling from heaven to see your brother with two beautiful little girls. She and I used to joke that M would have seven daughters so that he would learn to appreciate girls. It looks like he's off to a good start. :) I'm so happy for you!
ReplyDeleteCongrats Aunt Scully! You are a great Aunt (and neice).
ReplyDeleteBeing a second child it doesn't surprise me that she is perfect. All second children are. :) Oh and thanks for all the compliments on Bee. They are greatly appreciated. (If you don't know, Bee is my daughter :) )
